Manually Re-Build the Search Index

The issue mentioned in #144 - https://feedback.pasteapp.io/144 - is a problem I’ve faced multiple times. After an update, the search feature will not find things it was able to find just moments before.

Usually the issue doesn’t last too long (a couple days?), but I’ve had the problem so many times that now I use an additional app to also keep my clipboard history so that when Paste search breaks, I can at least go find things more easily in another app.

However, it would be nice if there were a way I could manually fix this.

Of course, I don’t know what the actual issue is causing this, but if there’s a way something could be built-in to Paste’s preferences that would allow me to take an action that could fix the issue, it would be much better than having my workflow discombobulated until a fix comes along.

Is problem solved or not?

While this issue is still not cunfirmed, it is considered as a bug and will be resolved as a part of upcoming search update. Closing this ticket for now, thank you for bringing it to our attention!

When is this going to be fixed?

Having the issue too, even deleting old entries isn’t enough and it happens just again after a couple of day. :/

Search stopped working altogether

Same issue here. Deleting items or re-installing didn’t fix the issue

Same issue, using the search bar doesn’t return anything.
