Paste shouldn't copy blank lines

It would be really nice if Paste didn’t copy blank lines. because for example if I double click on my terminal I have an autocopy feature but sometimes I double click and drag by mistake and I will select 50 lines of of spaces and line breaks. and it just adds a bunch of noise into my clipboard. it’d be nice if these accidental copies of blank lines could be trimmed. at least perhaps an option to exclude white space only characters into paste .. like I don’t disable it from being copied, but exclude it from paste.
